A bit about us...
Go Xplore Basecamp is a one-man (plus wife and dog) shop. We started out by building our GX470 platform and documenting the process to share in our build manual. After expanding the build manual line to include platforms and drawers for multiple vehicles, we moved on to physical parts. Our designs are driven primarily by our own needs and those we learn from the community — so don't hesitate to give a shout if there's something you have seen on the market!

We purchased our new-to-us 2004 GX470 in August, 2020. We were lucky to score a fully stock specimen with 195k on the clock for a reasonable price in the difficult SoCal market. We immediately got to work making it our own. Here’s what we’ve done:
